Practical life

The Practical Life Area is the base of the Montessori Method, the materials are related with real life activities like pouring, twisting, squeezing, caring of oneself, caring for environment and food preparation. These activities are chosen to develop the child’s manual skills. The more delicate the work, the more care and attention it needs of an intelligent mind to guide it. The child’s intelligence can develop to a certain level without the help of his hand, but if it develops with his hand, then the level it reaches is higher and the child’s character is stronger.
